Qualified Psych-K Facilitator

I've been where you are

Hi, I’m Rachel — a mum of three boys, a former primary school teacher, and someone who deeply understands what it feels like to love a child with big emotions, big needs, and big challenges.

For years, I thought I should be able to stay calm simply because I knewwhat to do. I’d studied child development. I’d supported high-needs students in my classroom. I cared deeply. But in the real moments — the meltdowns, the defiance, the overwhelm — I found myself snapping, shutting down, or drowning in guilt. I kept wondering:

Why is this so hard, even when I’m trying my best?

Discovering Psych-K

From surviving the chaos to finding the calm

Working with children who had behavioural and learning challenges showed me something important: patience isn’t about willpower. And staying regulated isn’t something you can force when your nervous system is already overwhelmed.

That realisation is what eventually led me to Psych-K.

When I experienced PSYCH-K® for the first time, it felt like someone had handed me the missing link in parenting — a way to shift the deep patterns and stress responses that were running the show beneath the surface.

It didn’t require reliving painful memories or “trying harder.” It simply helped me become the calm, grounded parent I wanted to be.

My Journey & Psych-K

This work has been my lifeline

One of my own children has had high needs and behavioural challenges. I’ve used Psych-K again and again to move through the stress, frustration, and overwhelm that would otherwise build inside me.

It’s helped me reconnect with myself and with my child — even when everything feels chaotic.

Today, as a certified Psych-K facilitator, I support parents who are where I once was: exhausted, discouraged, and longing for more ease.

My work is grounded, gentle, and compassionate. I help you identify and shift the subconscious patterns that shape your reactions, so you can parent with more clarity, confidence, and connection.

I believe every parent deserves to feel supported.
I believe every child deserves a regulated, present adult.
And I believe that change becomes possible the moment you stop blaming yourself and start working with the parts of you that genuinely want to shift.

If you’re ready to feel lighter, calmer, and more connected, I’m here.

What Happens in a Psych-K Session?

Simple, gentle, and deeply effective

1. We start with what matters most to you

You share your current situation, challenges or goals, and how you’d like to feel or respond instead.

2. We choose the right pathway

Together, we create goal statements or use a stress-transformation protocol — depending on what will support you best.

3. We complete the  Psych-K balances

Through simple movements and focused intention, we communicate directly with your subconscious to integrate the change.

4. The shift happens immediately.

There’s no pushing or practicing. You naturally begin responding with more calm, clarity, and connection — often right away.

The amazing part? Children often shift in response to your shift, without us working directly with them.
